Chemistry Group focuses on replenishing and managing lab chemicals.

1. How to develop 16mm film with FWP lab chemistry

For the FWP lab chemistry, currently we have D97 and D96 for the black and white negative process, and ECN and ECP for developing color films.

"ECN and ECP refer to two different processes used in color negative film development. ECN stands for Eastman Color Negative, and ECP stands for Eastman Color Positive. While both are part of the color negative process, they serve different purposes. ECN is used to develop camera negatives (the original film stock), whereas ECP is used to develop positive prints from those camera negatives.

2. How to create or mix chemistry

For black and white chemistry, FWP uses raw chemistry to create D97 and D96 developers.

And fix is made through mixing the right ratio of water with the bottled concentrated fix solution.

B&W developer recipes

For ECN and ECP FWP, purchase chemistry from Kokdat. The chemistry is made via mixing different solutions with the right ratio:
