This printer operates now with a controller that is designed by James Rubery (in accordance with the original manual). This controller is to operate the 3 valves in RGB (red-green-blue light) in 0 to 50 steps each. 0 is closed and 50 is completely open. 12 steps is 1 stop.

The gate has the options

composite = full image including optical sound outline

picture = only the image, no outline framing

sound pos = only the optical sound part when printed as positive from a negative

sound rev = only the optical sound part when printed as positive from a positive. The framing is a fraction bigger than sound pos to avoid a white line in between image and sound track.
