A capacitor is a device that stores electrical energy by accumulating electric charges on two closely spaced surfaces that are insulated from each other. It is a passive electronic component with two terminals.

The capacitor can be blown out on a projector, but it is possible to replace it!

Steps
1. Order a new capacitor

2. Take off the motor module: start with taking off the projector cover, and then the plastic wire collector (on some Eikis this is not possible).

Don't forget to take off the springs below: one short and one long.

3. Replace the capacitor by soldering (more photos will come). The black rubber cap should stay!

The wires should be connecting to two sides of the poles, each side with one wire. The colors of the wires do not matter.

4. Put back everything and test.
